Hong Kong-based Continental Jewellery (Mfg) Ltd has achieved certification against the new 2013 Code of Practices (COP) at its jewellery manufacturing facility in Guangdong, China, the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) announced recently. The new 2013 COP was released in November 2013.
“It is a pleasure to announce Continental Jewellery (Mfg) Ltd has been certified against the 2013 COP. The new provisions under the 2013 COP address important issues for our members and their supply chain. The successful verification assessment was led by Dr. Thomas Kwok at World Center for Certification & Quality Certification Hong Kong, one of the independent third-party auditing firms accredited by the RJC.
