Recently, the Work Conference on World Bank Emergency Loan for Sichuan Post-Disaster Health Recovery & Reconstruction Projects and the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Cangxi County Maternal and Child Health Hospital took place in Cangxi County, Guangyuan in Sichuan Province. As project management consultative service provider, Gu Yaojiang and Wang Yici, project manager and project assistant of World Center for Certification & Quality Construction Department, attended this great event in response to invitation.
In his speech at the conference, Gu Yaojiang emphasized the key work for project completion acceptance, highlighted the implementation basis for project completion acceptance, outlined the key contents of project completion acceptance, analyzed key challenges in the project implementation process and proposed corresponding countermeasures.
According to insiders, World Bank loan to Sichuan health projects involves a total of 60 sub-projects, hitting USD 60 million in total amount, for use to reconstruct county hospitals, maternal and child health hospitals and township health centers in 19 counties (cities and districts) under 7 cities of Chengdu, Deyang, Mianyang, Guangyuan, Bazhong, Nanchong and Ya’an. Currently, health projects funded by World Bank loans are fully approaching the stage of project completion acceptance.
