Description
This is a one-day foundation training course which is registered by IRCA, will in-depth go through the ISO9001 standard requirements and provide the comprehensive knowledge to delegates for Quality Management System (QMS), in according with the international standard, ISO9001:2015.
Aim of the Course
To provide students with an overview of the purpose and requirements of ISO9001:2015 as a tool for business management and improvement.
Course Learning Objectives
By the end of the course students will be able to
- Understand and explain the purpose and intent of the ISO9000 series of standards
- Understand and describe the requirements of the ISO9001:2015 standard within the ISO9000 series
- Understand and explain the relationship between the clauses of ISO9001:2015
Content
- An introduction to the concept of quality, its basic concepts, and terminology associated with quality management.
- Introduction to the benefits that may be achieved through implementation of an ISO9001:2015 compliant system.
- Introduction to the ISO9000 series of standards
- Detailed review and interpretation of the particular requirements of ISO9001:2015
- Effective approach to the implementation project
- Guidance on the benefits of building on this foundation and becoming an IRCA registered internal auditor
- Assignments (the course is 60% activity based).
- Delegate Assessment - Assessment is carried out by continuous assessment of delegate performance throughout the theoretical and practical phases.
Pre-requisites
- Familiarity with the structure and requirements of ISO 9001:2015 would be useful, but not essential, as this course is designed as a basic introduction to the subject
